Eric Morgan Donaldson, 36, a lifelong resident of Dutchess County, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 1, 2008. Born on September 7, 1972, he was the son of Thomas and Margaret Chadwell of Clove Valley,NY. A 1990 graduate of Arlington High School, he was a self-employed carpenter. On August 31, 1996 in Amenia,NY, he married Rebecca Hageraats, who survives at home. In addition to his loving wife, and his parents, survivors include a son, Eric Thomas, and a daughter Sarah Margaret; his two sisters, Tia Shoemaker of Raleigh,NC and Amy Hunt of Plano,TX; his two brothers, Mark Chadwell of Clove Valley and Aaron Chadwell of Poughkeepsie; three nephews, a niece and several other relatives and friends. Eric was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Edmund and Marie Struller and his paternal grandparents, Elias and Eileen Chadwell. Eric was a devoted husband and father, He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, four-wheeling and bike riding with his family and numerous friends. He was a communicant of Dover First Baptist Church, Wingdale,NY.
